Su and I plan to be in Nepal February 9 through April encouraging and training teams to “fish for men”. Jesus said “follow Me and I will make you fishers of men”. I am not much of a fisher of fish but I know how to catch men, and my life’s quest is to become masterful at it. Masterful fishers of fish know where the fish are, they know what bait to use, and they know when the fish bite. The sun, moon, tides and weather all influence fish activity. Fish tend to feed more at sunrise and sunset and during a full moon.
As Su and I travel across Nepal our goal is to sharpen the soul winning skills of our team members so they can sharpen the soul willing skills of their disciples. My hope is that with our help they will reach 2 million people in 2023 with face-to-face gospel shares. Every week candidates apply to work with RUN Global to win souls. We bring most of them on a trial basis. They enter into intense training to turn them into soul winners.
The apostle Paul was passionate to bring people to Christ.
In 1st Corinthians 9 Paul explains that everything he does is purposely to bring people to Christ. Verse 19 “…I have become a slave to all people to bring many to Christ”. 20 “…I lived like a Jew to bring them to Christ…I did this to bring them to Christ”.
Verse 21 implies Paul lived like Gentiles to bring them to Christ. In verse 22 Paul wrote, “When I am with those who are weak, I share their weakness, for I want to bring the weak to Christ. Yes I try to find common ground with everyone, doing everything I can to save some. 23 “I do everything to spread the Good News and share in it’s blessings”.
Su and I will need your prayers. We’ll be traveling to several locations to train clusters of teams, then send them to their target cities and towns to win souls to Christ. Indians will cross the border for training since I am blacklisted and banned from India.
Please pray for us and for team members to catch the ardent passion to win souls that Paul had. Pray that together we will reach 2 million souls in 2023. Thank you for helping us!
